It's common to return bottles, tins, aluminium, papers, plastics, glasses for recycling.
The finished product can be just amazing.
What's uncommon is to have 'leaders' recycled to become ministers & deputy ministers.
Making products from recycled tins for instance, lesser energy is used than starting from scratch.
'Making' ministers, dep ministers from recycled 'leaders' may not give us the amazing finished 'products' as compared to the above mentioned.
Ministers are head of govt departments. One who is responsible & accountable to his department & the govt.
Before we can talk of the lengthy Cabinet Manual (Cabinet structures & functions), it is fundamental for govt of the day to select & appoint only elected leaders of high caliber, high in credibility & integrity.
A minister who is competent enough in taking his/her department (ministry) to a great height.
Appointment of cabinet ministers should not be obligated to gaining or sustaining personal influence or popularity within the party (coalition).
Since appointing of ministers (cabinet) is the sole prerogative of the prime minister, it becomes almost always impossible for anyone to go against his choice. Here comes the problem.
A prime minister select & appoint anyone he feels fit. As I had mentioned in my last post, his best may not be people's best.
I can only hope Malaysian cabinet ministers could help the prime minister transform Malaysia into a country respected by the world.
What I feel of them is no matter.
