BAIL & GUNS. NFC Irks me.

33 protesters seek help with bail money.

The 33 individuals who were nabbed after protesting against election fraud, needs to raise RM150, 000.00 (Malaysiakini July 28, 2013).

In the name of fairness, somebody or a committee from Pakatan Rakyat must co-ordinate and take charge on protesters having trouble with the authority and courts for their participation in PR's organized protest or demonstration.

We knew, a lot of assistance had been given to many offenders from the instance they were apprehended to organizing bail and providing necessary defense attorney but when the amount of bail fail to be deposited before the courts, they will not be able to secure release from custody.

With Eid celebration drawing near, it will be unfortunate for the Muslim detainees not to be able to celebrate with their love ones.

Though on the part of protest/demonstration organizers can say that it's everybody's struggle to 'fight' allegation of fraud, they would not do it on their own thus, there must be a mechanism as to how best this issue can be dealt with. Failing to do that will affect their courage and most importantly their commitment.

I'm not too sure if my poor eyesight now is the result of being teared gas twice when my family and I were outside a shopping complex in Kuala Lumpur. The police was trying to disperse a group of protesters then.

For that reason (deteriorating eyesight) I keep myself away from protest or demo.

Those unable to receive help will most probably get disappointed and some will not choose to participate in future organised protest or demo though some can accept it as 'sacrifice' for the struggle.

In an unrelated development, I am saddened to hear that activist, R. Sanjeevan was shot.
The Chairperson of an NGO MyWatch was reported shot in Bahau, Negeri Sembilan when he was trying to reveal name(s) of police personnel alleged to have been involved in drug syndicate.

I pray and hope Sanjeevan will recover soon though his condition was reported critical but stable.

MyWatch has ex-Inspector General of Police, Tan Sri Musa Hasan as it's patron.
I hope security for his safety while receiving treatment is step up to ensure no further attempt to hurt him.

He was reported transferred to Serdang hospital for an operation.

At 3.23pm July 29, 2013 Malaysiakini reported that his condition is said to be deteriorating and surgery is scheduled to remove the bullet lodged in his rib cage.

In both situations above, what's obvious is the fact that each has it's price to pay.

In the case of the former, it's monetary and possible jail sentence while in the case of the latter, it's life that is at stake.

In whichever case of the above two, there will be more sympathizers than those who can be of real help.

In a another shooting related incidence, city folks were shocked when Hussain Ahmad Najadi, a renowned banker and founder of Arab Malaysian Banking Group was gunned down in broad daylight on Monday.

Meanwhile, themalaymailonline July 29, 2013 reported an incidence where a man was shot in
his right thigh by an unknown assailants while driving in a car with his friend in Jln Mengkuang, Bukit Mertajam.

In another report, a man was shot dead in Ipoh with his 2 friends seriously injured. 2 gunmen opened fire from inside the car.

In John Wayne movies, bad guys shoot from horses back but now, assailants shoot from motorbikes and cars!

Despite carrying gun (illegal possession) means Death here, guns are still rampantly used to hurt and kill. This situation will give a reason for public to fear for their own safety, even - in broad daylight.

I don't have a clue where those guns come from. The authority must seriously look into this matter (illegal guns) before shooting spree (like incidences in the US) happening in this land. Issuance of permit to gun owners should also be made more stringent.

On a lighter note, I'm amused when ex-Wanita Umno secretary Faridah Abu Hassan was reported to have told Sharizat Jalil to quit and not to stop the challenge posed by Azalina Othman, ex-Putri Umno chief.

Faridah was also reported to have received SMS (short messaging system) requesting Wanita members to be at the court house in show of support in Sharizat vs Rafizi NFZ case.

I had the impression that she was 'strong' enough to face Rafizi following what she has uttered on the issue in the medias.

She is currently an Umno Wanita chief without the title of 'Yang Berhormat' (YB) nor ministerial position.

I don't have any personal interest on Sharizat.

The NFC irked me.

Love this quote-
"No One is Indispensable"

H.G.Wells
"It is a law of nature we overlook, that intellectual versatility is the compensation for change, danger, and trouble... Nature never appeals to intelligence until habit and instinct are useless. There is no intelligence where there is no change and no need of change".
