TS Khalid has had the audience with the Selangor Ruler today, Aug 26, 2014.
Khalid has done his part (submitting his resignation letter), but the Ruler, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah has deferred the acceptance of his resignation - meaning, Khalid's resignation is not accepted as yet) until a suitable candidate is found for the replacement.
"To ensure political stability in Selangor, I have indicated my intention to resign to the Sultan. However, the Sultan has delayed the acceptance of my letter until the next menteri besar is named," said Khalid, report The Star Online
Khalid said the Sultan had requested for each component party to nominate at least two names each.
"This would ease the decision-making process for the Sultan in selecting whoever he deems most qualified.
"This selection process follows convention," added Khalid.
This is a royal command and it's not open to discussion or debate.
With this development, PAS is not wrong, after-all. And the "unwritten" is also easily "readable" when the Sultan requested for more alternative names from PR other than Anwar's wife, PKR president Wan Azizah.
Nevertheless, the whole people of Selangor are now anxiously waiting what would be the next course and/or further development.
