BN, particularly Umno (the strongest party of the BN coalition in GE13) was returned to power.
Never mind with only 47% in minority votes. Never mind what the world would say about that. Here, in our Boleh Land, that does not matter.
What matters is for BN/Umno to continue staying in power. Just like what was said by Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib before polling ; "by hook or by crook".
Malaysians are fully aware that Umno was once deregistered. Umno lama. Umno baru. (old Umno, new Umno). Old leaders, New leaders. Name changed, leaders changed.
What seemed don't change is the typical stereo typed characteristic and style of it's leaders. So much so those with ministerial power (though not all).Arrogance is like bread and butter.
Barely a month in power, we have seen those returned in the 13th general election and returned to the cabinet showing their true colours.
And it's unfortunate enough that laws in our Boleh Land were seemed written and interpreted to suit their needs. Undoubtedly backed and/or supported by their choice of loyal and obedient servants.
To the latter, being loyal to their political masters and/or government of the day is just inevitable.
To us, loyal has always been (and will continue to be) to the King and country.
Earlier, we have Dr Mahathir suggesting that constitution be ammended just as to strip Bersih's Datuk Ambiga of her citizenship. Is that not arrogance?
The new Home Minister follow suit in telling Malaysians who are unhappy here to migrate when his chair at the Home Ministry was just about to get warm.Yet, another arrogance?
In any democratic countries of the world, it's only the norm for incumbent and opposing parties to have a different political ideologies. But that does not give the winner the authority to tell the loosing faction to migrate.Should there be any unhappiness, It should be dealt with politically.
I'm not sure to others. Personally, I opined that such nature of attitudes by those in Umno and/or cabinet ( not all though) could have been a contributing factors to the chinese tsunami as claimed by Prime Minister Najib soon after GE13 results were made known.
What about the young crying for change? Forget not, they are educated and well informed citizens.
They could well become the catalyst to the struggle againts unjust and corrupt in a tainted administration.
Their attendance in most if not all rallies of #Black505 by the opposition is a testimony.
My conclusion here will be; if they don't change or can't change in the next 5 years, rakyat has to change them. Change them democratically. The Ballot Box in GE18.
