Malaysian Politics - 1

As I had mentioned in my earlier post, I am not a journalist, academician and now if I may add, not a university degree holder; just a Malaysian Certificate of Education with a grade 3 (nothing fancy), not an economist either & certainly not a POLITICIAN!.

The problem is - post GE13, as I realized - I have developed a new interest.
And the biggest problem is - Malaysian POLITICS!.

I thought, only my past career path was challenging.

From a Storekeeper that dealt with figures to an Area Manager with a then leading multilevel marketing comp - not knowing that over time, my interest too has developed to something new & challenging, that is -  WRITING!.

With all the shortfalls, I'm not sure how best I could deliver as I am now starting it from scratch.

As a writer - I presumed, it's vital not only to think about what I say but how best I can say it.

And I'm fully aware that in order to communicate effectively, even my organized ideas expressed in complete & coherent sentences alone is insufficient.

I knew I have to consider style, tone & clarity of my writing, and adapt such elements to my targeted audience.

I realized too, that a hallmark of effective writer is the ability in expressing the desired message as brief & precise as possible with a straightforward & to-the-point language.

Thus, to the learned audience - I wish you could bear with me (my English & grammatical errors).

As a newcomer to blogger (with own website yet to create), I'm more than obliged to learn that my posts had reached audiences in the US, Russia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Taiwan, Singapore & certainly Malaysia.

My objective is none other than  to share my personal views to pave way for exchange of ideas on mutual topics of interest.

But with topic like Malaysian politics, I don't have any clue as how to incorporate humors in it as it's not easy to write one.

As I move on, I hope I will not get calls or emails of criticisms from both sides of the political divide.

But if that happens, I have every reason to be happy simply for believing of being in the right path - the middle path.

With my political partisanship marked, I guess - it will be difficult for the other side of the divide to accept my neutrality.
.
But neutrality need not be determined by any political badge. It is the capability of being just & fair to both sides of the political divide.

I sincerely hope, I will not be labelled or even accused of being racist, chauvinist, an opposition Gurkha or sympathizer and a Govt lackey.

I prefer, from this instance to be more analytical, mature & courageous with the smallest amount of confidence birthed out of this new interest.

Back to my topic - Malaysian politics.

I chose my blog title - New Malaysia - simply because, I opined - there are rooms for improvement as far as politics here are concerned & when it reaches the level of mature politicking, that itself will birth - a New Malaysia.

Like a rythm to a song - how could we disintegrate Malaysia & politics.

There are so much to be written about Malaysian politics.

The ruling party.

The opposition.

The leaders.

The people.

The issues.

The mentality & etc.

Here, you are either for the Opposition or the Ruling party & the Govt. Both have their strengths & weaknesses.

Barisan Nasional (BN) has been the ruling party since Independence while Opposition is more organized now under Pakatan Rakyat (PR)  *The Party

DS Najib T. Razak is leading BN now & DS Anwar Ibrahim at the helm of PR  *The Leaders

And Malaysians at times can be emotional people. *The People

They just can't accept or reluctant to accept when weakness is in their favoured devide or
strength is on the other side. A common example, if a politician has been  their saviour,
even when their 'report card' is in the red, people try to justify or deny them.

To them, politicians are either Saints or Devils. * The Mentality

There are many issues in Malaysia which were unfairly treated  as either black or white. *The Issues

To be contd...
