Happy Eid al-Fitri to all Muslim readers.
As many Muslim families, relatives and friends are sad and depressed with the absence of their love ones in MH370 & MH17 during this year's celebration, I hope Khazanah Nasional Berhad (majority stake owner of Malaysian Airlines System) would be serious enough with their bids to take over the "problematic, frequently devastated by misfortune and continuous business loosing" company as part of a turn-around plan.
It is also hoped that it's group chief executive officer Ahmad Jauhari, would relinquish his position in the company to pave the way inline to calls for him to do so.
The screenshot of a WhatsApp group chat conversation between several PAS central committee members only samples the amount of displeasure and dissatisfaction among them following the chief minister's (MB) post crisis in Selangor to which I also believed, has spread to it's grass-root members and supporters, let alone the people of Selangor.
It won't be surprising too, should the same sentiments are felt by a segment of Justice Party (PKR) and Democratic Action Party's (DAP) own grass-roots and supporters in relation to removal of incumbent MB TS Khalid Ibrahim and replacing him with party president Dr Wan Azizah (Anwar's wife).
Whether it (WhatsApp screenshot) was leaked to undermine the reputation and image of PAS' research centre operations director Dr Mohamad Zuhdi or not, it's not a major concern. The real concern is, the fact that displeasure and dissatisfaction are in existence and is reaching it's pinnacle.
Perhaps, state referendum is necessary to seek mandate of the Selangor people on the controversial post in it's MB and the issue of removing incumbent Khalid for Azizah or Azmin.
What we heard is more coming from PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim and influential leaders surrounding him.
These leaders have managed to get some support from several leaders of the DAP and several of the so-called the moderate leaders of PAS. Leaders many said, seen "closer" to Anwar and critical of Khalid and his administration of the Selangor state.
Other than negative repercussions for the people of Selangor, the contradictory views held by PAS, PKR and DAP would have an adverse effect on the state.
Men made calamity that could result in a "mass murder" of Selangor people's confidence and trust, those responsible for it's "death" must be censured if not held responsible and accountable - though, there would be high probability that they will receive continuous "condolence" greetings after the 14th general elections (GE14). Their control over the richest state in Malaysia would be "tomb-stoned" for unspecified period of time.
Knowing the "mighty" Umno/BN well, should the crisis is not fast resolved, should "personal agenda" edged state and people agenda, and should PKR and DAP failed to "tame" PAS, it's as good as preparing for their own memorial in 2014.
We can argue "until the cows come home", the fact remain, If the present pact is broken, it will be as good as "Burung punggok merindukan bulan," simply means, are those people with unfulfilled desire. PKR can choose to "Win the argument, but loose the sale" if they want to.
