REALITY, MORE OFTEN THAN NOT- IT'S SOMETHING HARD TO SWALLOW.
REALITY.
The selangor fracas is turning into real circus with TS Khalid's colleagues (the clowns?) issuing statements after statements seen far from offering solutions, but a sheer character assassination of Khalid which seems ridiculous and nauseating.
The latest being the "strong man" architect of "Kajang Plan" Rafizi Ramli. Equating Khalid's "stunt" to Sharizal Abdul Jalil he said,"If Khalid wants to use SPRM (Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission) to clear his name, good luck because Sharizat tried to use SPRM to clear her name too, but most people in Malaysia are convinced that NFC (National feedlot Centre) was a scandal and involved corruption," he said. Khalid aping Sharizat..
"SPRM is a stunt. If he has nothing to hide, show us the settlement now," the Pandan MP told Malay Mail Online when contacted yesterday.
Rafizi - Stole the limelight after his exposures of the National Feedlot Centre (NFC) scandal involving the family of Umno's women chief, Sharizat Jalil that denied her a post in Prime Minister Najib's cabinet.
He said the MACC Act 2009 defined corruption narrowly, and demanded Khalid to show his hand instead of putting on a show.
In response to PKR's (People Justice Party) report, Khalid's aides submitted the same to MACC yesterday afternoon.
Meanwhile, Saifuddin Nasution, PKR secretary-general who announce the 40-page dossier said Khalid dared to go to the national graft-buster because the MB had now become a "BN-friendly" politician.
"For sure SPRM will clear hin. You know the words 'selective investigation'? They will apply that to Khalid," Saifuddin told Malay Mail Online.
These two Anwar's stalwarts going the extra-miles not towards recommending viable solution(s) to the real crisis (the Selangor chief minister (MB) post), but instead continue to discredit and belittle not only Khalid but the authority, MACC. That's the reality.
Having failed persuading Khalid to voluntarily step-down of MB post, Anwar's right-hand men used the "blow/punch" tactics as much as the punches/blows incurred during their party election.
Indonesia's presidential election process has concluded with Jokowi announced new Indonesian elect-President. Have they (PKR) completed their tiny party election?
Can Rafizi and Saifuddin or even Anwar show their hands instead of putting on a show?
Disappointing and humiliating for Malaysia. The perception of having a mighty Opposition to offer check and balance and to "force" the ruling party towards openness, transparent, and honesty is like having a day dream.
With the revelations by Anwar's lieutenants of alleged wrongdoings of an MB from the Opposition in Selangor, would make us realize that in actual fact, the Opposition is of no different than the ruling party.
With little power (state level) that they have, they are already demonstrating elements of craze for power, accumulation of wealth, greed and etc. This is Reality.
How many of you realize the fact that PKR is the smallest party within the alliance pact? And how many of you realize the fact that their leaders speak as if, they are the commanders of the pact? No?
The picture they are painting in relation to the Selangor MB post crisis gets more confusing and hilarious too.
Just look at their absurdity. The power struggle in the party has made them more than willing and prepared to "opening a can of worms". This is Reality.
How many of you analyse the whole episode from the initiation of the "Kajang Plan" to this stage of the crisis?
How many of you see just like what I saw?
What I have seen is there are people in PKR itself "willing to do anything" including "opening a can of worms" just to see that Khalid get ousted for Azizah to replace him as Selangor new MB.
If really Saifuddin and Rafizi's revelations of Khalid are true, aren't PR leaders are not as "clean" as they painted of themselves every time they attack the BN leaders?
Again, if the revelations about Khalid are true, "rat-catcher" Rafizi and other leaders in the circle must have more than Khalid's case. No? Or are they "keeping" them to wait for "proper time" before exposing it?
Can I ask these questions-
Just how "white" is Anwar, Azmin, Saifuddin, Rafizi and others in PKR? Whiter than white?
How many of you recall that in 1998, Anwar too refused to step down or resign. Remember? That's why he got the sack, but if you are still schooling then and couldn't be bothered to check "history", don't shout for the sake of shouting for Anwar and the gang.
Thus, why should you all be surprised if Khalid now resorting to the same approach? Isn't Khalid prior to the present fracas, an Anwar's men?
Like Anwar, he wouldn't want public to embed the perception that he is guilty (by stepping-down/resign) to all allegations as per m in PKR 40-page report.
Like Anwar, perhaps he would be elevated a hero by certain section of the public and respected while another section would adopt the perception that he was a victim of political conspiracy and offer their compassion and sympathy.
Well-versed with the "game", perhaps, made Anwar announced that PR (People's Pact) is ready to face the snap polls even-though he's aware of the disadvantages (taking into account of the crisis) should a snap polls be held. Make sense?
Anwar is a "brilliant" leader, other than a crowd-puller. He knows the effect and impact of the controversial Kajang by-election would not make it any conducive for PR if a snap polls is to be held, and certainly he's "aware" that voters are sick and tired of his antiques.
Being the least in Selangor state assembly, PKR is now dragging second biggest DAP and biggest PAS into his "narrow" politicking together with his family and core followers as if, the Perak crisis in 2009 is not taken as a useful lesson.
Anwar knew that in Selangor, it's quite a difference than that of Perak. BN is too "small" in Selangor to create a threat to PR.
Only if PAS merge with Umno/BN and Khalid and his followers (if any) join PAS or Umno/BN, then it could pose a threat to Selangor PR.
This is the trouble with politicians. Be it the ruling party or the opposition. They would turn to us (voters) to seek mandate, given our mandate, they'll do things as they pleased.
