DEMOCRACY OR DEMO-CRAZY?

Regardless of race, religion and political partisanship/partiality, Malaysians are united in grief today for a solemn and dignified reception of 20 Malaysians remains who were killed along with 298 other passengers/crew on board Flight MH17.

Surely the atmosphere of melancholy and sorrow would cloud those present at the reception especially, family members & friends of the victims, so are all Malaysians.

As we grieve the fate of MH17 victims, we should not also forget the plight of MH370 victims of which news about them hardly find space in the media.

My only hope is the authority would not abandon efforts to trace the mysterious disappearance of Flight MH370.

It is quite rampant, while "attacking" opponent(s), be it in politics or in everyday life, people tend to utter or do anything to bring down his/her opponent(s) though what's conveyed has little or no authenticity at all.

Anwar Ibrahim & Wan Azizah's daughter and MP for Lembah Pantai, Nurul Izzah admitted in a High Court here that she made a mistake in a media statement Report The Star.

If this can serve as a guide, can we assume that not all allegations/accusations thrown by PKR leader(s) against their political "enemy(ies)" in or outside the party carry weight?

The same goes to PKR's 40-page dossier against Selangor MB, Khalid Ibrahim?

They, who seemed so convinced of Khalid's wrongdoings as stated in that document failed to immediately lodge report to relevant authorities.

Now, Saifuddin and the several leaders who have been vocal about it don't seem talking about it anymore since Khalid has been sacked from the party.

Thus, the question that arises is - Was the dossier prepared as a sheer tool to pressure and force Khalid to step-down?

Still on Nurul Izzah. She is encountering marriage difficulties and as a matter of fact,  her child custody hearing was set for Aug 27.

True, absolutely true that her marriage is her personal thing and that it should not be politicized.

I agreed absolutely, but what I want to highlight here is not her problematic marriage but people are not perfect.

So is Saifuddin, Rafizi, Anwar and anybody including Khalid for that matter.

But more often than not these less-than-perfect people forgotten, particularly, when they are in the mid of executing specific agenda against others.

No, I'm not implying the dossier is rubbish, but at least PKR or Saifuddin (PKR's secretary-general) is man enough to lodge a formal report even before it was made public.

I want to see that Khalid receive appropriate punishment for all his misconducts but he must first be proven guilty in any court of law.

If Khalid's misconducts cannot be proven in any court of law, I would like to see PKR, Saifuddin and/or others pay damages to Khalid through any court of law.

Then, I would say it's fair and square.

There was a question, are there liars in PAS?

The question surfaces following PAS' denial that it's president, Abdul Hadi Awang and the Sultan of Selangor discussed the issue of proposing Azmin Ali (PKR's deputy president) as the second name nominated for the MB (chief minister) post.

It was said that those present during Hadi's audience with the Sultan that there was no royal directive whatsoever pertaining to Selangor MB issue which contradicted Selangor PAS youth chief Suhaizan Kiat who said, when he sought to explain why PAS eventually settled on proposing Wan Azizah alone for the MB post hours after the party leadership declined that her name be submitted along with Azmin Ali's.

According to Suhaizan, the initial decision to name two candidates was made as a result of the audience Hadi had with the Sultan. In other words, this was what the Sultan wanted, wrote FMT News.

In a separate development,  leaked doccuments detailing PKR's alleged plot to weaken the economy in the run-up to the 14th general election was reported by The Star

So much about democracy!!

No wonder democracy is "synonym-ed" demo-crazy.

Demo means demonstration and crazy simply means going nut!. Demonstration of nuts?
