He was abruptly stopped by Simon Cowell & was asked if he had another song choice.
'Shaken' for a moment he replied, "Yes".
Simon then allowed him to proceed with his 2nd choice, a song by Michael Jackson, Who's loving you.
He sang it well. Simon was surprised, much to the delight of Piers Morgan & Amanda Holden.
Before giving his Yes, Simon remarked, "This how 1 song can change your life".
What's the morale here?
i ) What we thought was best may not be people's best.
ii ) That we must always have an alternative. (Contigency plan)
iii) That when we get a '2nd chance', we could prove it's not the 'singer' but the 'song'.
Likewise in governing a nation.
The first time people (voters) denied your govt the two-third majority, you should have an alternative (contigency plan) and make full use of the '2nd chance' to improve and excel in the next election to form a strong govt.
A govt accepted by majority of it's people.
When you failed or turned out worst than before, never blame the people (voters).
A govt without contingency plans often do poorly when setbacks happen.
Under this circumstance, it's the 'govt' and not the 'people'.
BN fared poorly in GE13. Poor enough to have lost in majority of the popular votes. Worst than what was achieved in the last election.
It shows they (BN govt), failed in the last 5 years of rule to improve themselves.
The question is, the next 5 years. Will Malaysia become a better nation or the opposite?
