When You Get Self-Inflicted by your own Words.

I was taken aback on hearing over the radio that Husam Musa will be charged under the sedition act for his statement calling those who die attending #Black505 #PdgMerbok considered martyrs.
Husam Musa

My partisanship in politics is obvious. I voted PR in the last 2 elections. No secret about it. But that doesn't mean I have to agree to anything PR or it's agents do or say.

Party member, yes. Supporter, yes. Committed, yes. Fanatic, certainly NO.

I disagree totally for instance, martyr be used conveniently to garner support or sympathy for event(s)  not declared nor decreed as an act against teachings or the religion of Islam.
Correct me, if I'm wrong.

I'm not a Muslim scholar likewise the many Muslims at large, thus a call of such nature can be very misleading.

They [person(s)] calling those who die attending #Black505 consider martyrs may have their own justifications to substantiate but it must first be verified & certified by relevant religious authorities before using it on Malaysian Muslims or public.

Though I would not jump the gun for not believing it but I still have my objection for the same to be used irresponsibly.

I noticed of late, issues such as arrogance has started to envelope in some of PR's personalities.

Some of their tweets too were seen provocative to the extend of even more provocative than the BN.

I have heard statements (pre GE13) by PR supporters, "your absence in 'ceramahs' will not make a difference".

I also read on twitter, "your 1 vote won't change anything".

If 400 voters in each constituency did not vote PR due to such arrogance, that's sufficed (other than various allegations) to justify PR's narrow loses of seats in GE13.

At times, I wonder how much different can they be (when power is obtained) to BN.

I'm fully aware of the human factor part but it's fundamental for top leaderships to ensure no widespread of such menace among party members regardless of ranks.

They (PR) is still far from achieving their objectives after GE13.

They can continue to opt, "winning arguments but lost the sales".
