LET'S DON'T BE DOUBLE STANDARD.

Provocative calls, statements and actions that had the potential to spark and escalate racial tension at the same time threaten racial harmony had been rampantly committed by individuals, NGOs and leaders.

It is disheartening when such an act gone beyond politics. A school principal who got 'carried away' with such sentiments telling her students to go back to countries of their ancestors is most regretting. Her act is unbecoming of a principal to a multiracial school. What if P.Kalamanathan's children were in that school.

I wonder how would he feels and react?

I would certainly get annoyed if my children are told to go back to Indonesia where my ancestors are. What authority the principal has to give such an order? Is she more Malaysian than other Malaysian?

I can't help to wonder what origin was the principal. Is she Orang Asal (aborigin or tribe)?. If so, then people know of the originality.

This development if left unchecked, will soon be the common language in schools.

I would suggest a RM5 pay cut to the principal to remind her for good to refrain from repeating and any other action as the law finds it fit.

The fact that the principal apologized to her students in a school assembly proved she realized of her mistake.

It's pathetic when Datuk Najib himself has recently called for national reconciliation.

Perkasa's Ibrahim Ali, Zulkifli Nordin, academician Redhuan Tee Abdullah and others had been in the limelight when they insulted other religion.

Unfortunately, the authority do not find their actions as detrimental to racial harmony.

We also have Dr Mahathir with his most provocative statements against the Chinese and the latest being deputy prime minister (DPM) Muhyiddin Yassin in Maznah's video issue.

People understood if actions were taken against Alvivi duo and even Maznah the dog trainer but while actions on them were so swift, those named above were not even quizzed as if they possessed immunity.

The Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (Jakim) was reported as saying that Maznah's video clip as insulting Islam. Minister Jamil Baharom has instructed Jakim to convey the decision to MCMC and action(s) awaits Maznah.

Again, people can understand if Maznah is found to have breached the law but what people can't understand is the non-action(s) against leaders especially from the ruling party or group(s) and individuals linked to the ruling party.
