New Year's Eve - Price Hikes Protest & Celebrations.

2013 has left us, so is New Year's eve celebration as well as protest for price hikes.
At 1.30am police's twitter account tweets that Merdeka Square is getting empty as people started deserting for their homes.

No explosion and no bombing incident by protesters took place as earlier alleged, and from live tweets & live online news portals' reports, I could safely conclude that the protest at Merdeka Square is indeed peaceful and trouble free (except for throwing of bottled drinks by unknown provocateurs at the concert stage of Merdeka Square).
There has been no live tweets or live reports that protesters were using weapons such as 'parangs' (swords) etc.

That has proven that majority Malaysians inclusive the protesters are indeed, peace loving people; in sharp contrast to reports potrayed by Umno/BN controlled mainstream medias.

Majority Malaysians esp those present at the Merdeka Square on New Year's eve knew too well that the protest, (called by groups such as 'Turun' and few NGOs) took place without any physical aggression whatsoever.
It's pathetic of the mainstream medias (MSM) to have referred the protest a move to topple the govt. 

It is more pathetic when one of their online news portals wrote only 300 police personnel were deployed and only hundreds of protesters turned out.
Perhaps, in the name of complying to 'instructions' from their political masters, they conveniently ignored truth and integrity.

This too could well explain to the deterioration in readers' index and circulation they suffered, esp Utusan Malaysia (Umno controlled newspaper).

How absurd they can be to have come up with inaccurate and misleading reports when pictures and live reports were also wide in the social medias and alternative news portals.

I have said before, in this internet era cover-ups or even lies are as good as impossible.
In the end,more and more people including the rural folks,  becoming aware of the MSM's propaganda.
