When I should be criticizing weaknesses of the ruling party, here I am criticizing the opposition, particularly PKR (People Justice Party) and PR (People's Pact) for reasons already a public knowledge.
Yes, the turmoil surrounding Selangor chief minister's (MB) post and it's incumbent MB himself, TS Khalid Ibrahim who is said to be replaced by Dr Wan Azizah, PKR's party president and wife to DS Anwar Ibrahim.
But the episode in PKR itself which has indirectly inflict integrity of Selangor PR (People's Pact) gave every reason for people especially Selangor voters to question the ability of the ruling party (opposition in Federal level) in administering the state.
People's agitation apparent the moment conflict started which has led to it's MB being unable to perform effectively due to intense pressure following disturbances and attacks.
Ironically, it is not from the usual Federal ruling party Umno/BN, but members from within his own party and party(ies) within the alliance pact.
People's involuntary cringe fail to tranquil PKR leaders when they continue to wash it's dirty linen in public as situation gets closer to it's pinnacle.
The press conference, the statements, the 50-plus page report on Khalid's integrity PKR to explain move to oust Khalid are afflicting all of PKR like a bad odour, not just Khalid but it is spreading to all of PR (the pact).
Khalid dismissed the PKR allegations and dares party to file reports with the MACC and the police. Accusation serious, but not true
Perhaps, other than Khalid Ibrahim, PKR's de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim, deputy president Azmin Ali and strategy director Rafizi Ramli should also relinquish their party positions for plotting/scheming among others, "Kajang Plan" which led to present turbulence in Selangor.
Now, either they put up the evidence(s) against Khalid or shut up or quit politics, though - either way - they have trawled the party to a crossroad.
As if, they are clowns in a circus, where act of clowns would make some spectators laugh and would also make them looked idiotic or moronic.
PKR leaders are extraordinarily good in digging and cultivating "secrets" of many Umno/BN leaders in the past, and now the "expertise" is used to dig on Khalid, but "people" are also talking of Azmin Ali's involvement in "Dijaya" on the internet.
Will Saifuddin or Rafizi or any PKR leader including Anwar find any problem with that?
People are sicked and tired with PKR's "dramaturgy" and they said, if PKR wants to "wash Khalid's dirty linen in public," make sure PKR also clean up the rest.
When people start questioning the ability of PKR to govern (state) Selangor, when they (PKR) can't do anything, can't make Selangor any better - people get confused and helpless, they do not know who to turn to, as divisions are apparent, and when nothing is working, eventually - Umno/BN will find them. Make sense?
Many, including PKR party members are surfeited with the "dirty" games played by the party and it's leaders especially by Anwar, Azmin and/or those belonged to their divisions.
Some people had already been saying that they are willing to put in their money where their mouths are and dig into the "dirt" of party deputy president Azmin and all other PR politicians, and when the dust settle, we'll see who will believe them any more.
Section of party members and the public are equally puzzled with motive(s) of the 50-plus page report on Khalid.
If indeed, there is any basis of truth with credible evidences, why not they report the matter to relevant authorities - MACC and the police?
Is PKR wanting Khalid be found guilty with that report? Since they made it public, now there is an open invitation to Prove it.
Is it too difficult to read the written and the unwritten? Another bad move by PKR?
Back to PKR's reasons for wanting to oust Khalid. Kidex, the bible issue, water issue are among main reasons why Khalid must leave, but the "Kajang Plan" to "assassinate" Khalid of the MB post was already in the works well before all these issues cropped up, making it looked illogical reasons.
Then, what reasons are left?
Khalid not a team-player?
A team player to a small circle of party leadership or a team player for the rakyat (people)?
Why should the MB play team in administration (state)? Team A and Team B like in Umno before?
Perhaps these leaders of PKR thought, the "foolish" and the "naive" rakyat do not know the real reasons for removing Khalid, or perhaps, they (the king-makers) and those in any association with them felt, the rakyat need not to know.
Initiative to hold "peace talks" between Khalid and Azizah is now vulnerable to risk of being thwarted by the dirt-digging and the threat of disciplinary action against the MB.
The proposed "peace talks" could be a "do-or-die" attempt to find way out of PKR's "Kajang Plan" catastrophe.
Just how could we have an honourable solution when aggressive moves by PKR leaders in wanting Khalid out resorted to means detrimental to peace talks?.
Little did they realised the consequential effect it could pose on them ( PKR & PR's image) of the action by Saifuddin threatening to divulge a dossier consisting alleged wrongdoings in land and business deals involving the Selangor government (which Khalid has slammed as defamatory).
If Khalid, who has earned clean and incorruptible integrity tagged to his name has so much of wrongdoings, will Saifuddin (PKR secretary-general who was rejected in GE13 and far behind Khalid in PKR's deputy president race) do the same on the next MB and all of his party leaders in state government?
It was reported that Anwar wants the way cleared for his wife Azizah before Aug 10 when the PR parties are scheduled to reach a final decision on the issue.
Anwar, who also wants to avoid a snap election, is concerned that Khalid would approach the Sultan of Selangor to propose for the state legislative assembly be dissolved.
What amazes me is the fact that despite the pressure, the dirt-digging, the exposure, the threat, by PKR leaders towards Khalid and the war drums and open squabbling between the PR parties, they are not keen (or fear?) to face the Selangor voters again in a snap election.
Popular opinion is that PR would be lucky if they could get even half of the seats they won in GE13 should a snap poll is held.
Now, PKR is left with a couple of option against Khalid. Disciplinary action including probable issuance of a show-cause letter, and/or the sacking of Khalid from PKR party.
If the latter is the final option There were talks to expel Khalid, then the Kelantan episode will be repeated in Selangor.
In conclusion, it is very unlikely of me to give my vote to any PKR's candidate in any future elections to demonstrate my total displeasure of their nauseating antiques.
