A show-cause letter has been issued to embattled Selangor (state) chief minister (MB) TS Khalid Ibrahim giving him until on/or before August 8, to reply. PKR issues show-cause letter..
This time Hari Raya Aidilfitri (Eid al-Fitr) would be Khalid's most memorable Aidilfitri ever as it is completely clouded by crisis about himself and the MB post he held.
Call him running the (state) Selangor like a business, childish, or whatever - I opt to call him a person and MB who doesn't allow partisan politics to get in the way of a state administration he helmed.
What could be a refreshing style in a state administration in a country gloomed with great deal of partisanship, it's just too bad that it doesn't go down well even from leaders of his own party, PKR (People's Justice Party).
But be reminded, that the whole disarray started with his own party.
Aren't they the ones who went the extra-miles in showering him with compliments or praises for his excellent administration in the last 13th general election (GE13)?
Without any trace of hesitation, it was the party which nominated him to MB post for the second term immediately after GE13.
Are Malaysians too naive to notice PKR shied away from admitting that they initiated the "Kajang Plan" to oust Khalid of the MB post?
Aren't you people feel it's weird if not absurd seeing these people demanding his resignation, the very same people who proudly own Khalid as their brilliant administrator?
That is why the public, Selangorians in particular, are questioning why PKR wants him remove from office?
Didn't the public especially Selangor voters deserved an answer as to why PKR politicians lied when denying that the "Kajang Plan" is about getting rid of an MB from it's own party?
Aren't these valid questions and they must have the gut to answer? No?
Many cannot see, how by nominating Dr Wan Azizah, the wife of their unelected party leader DS Anwar and PKR president would help the state.
Anwar was never elected a party leader. His wife Azizah is. But Anwar spoke on party matters more than his wife Azizah.
Rise the question, can Anwar dictate Azizah? Popular opinion is pointing that he could. Many also believed the humbled Azizah would be more than willing and prepared to take orders from Anwar, her husband.
Her "loyalty" to Anwar can be seen since the beginning of Anwar's ordeal to-date. Always by his side.
In all fairness (I'm trying to be neutral here), do you need a PhD to know that should Prime Minister Najib were to nominate his wife Rosmah to a position, let alone ministerial post, isn't PKR and it's allies the "early birds" to "twist and shout" (Beatle's song) nepotism, power abuse and even corruption?
Wake up!!
Isn't that blatant double-standard and hypocrisy? Obvious double-standard and hypocrisy? No?
That answers my stance indicated in my previous article.
You have to categorically separate between supporter and fanatic supporter. A fanatic supporter would "swallow" any damn thing coming from Anwar and the gang or the party.
When you get rid fanaticism just like how they get rid Khalid, more likely you would be able to see precisely what has been less than appropriate or not appropriate at all.
And of late, I realised that many things I see were inappropriate in PKR.
I had sacrificed my time, money and inconveniences for Anwar in 1998. Remember?
I saw his sacking from Umno party and subsequently the government as being inappropriate and clouded by injustices, and when he was alleged to self-inflict his blue-black eye by then Umno women chief, without hesitation, I threw my undivided support for him.
Dared all the challenges and threats, I was kind-of performing a jihad to see justice is served on him.
Anwar in his political speeches till this date often quipped,"You may laugh.. the one made naked, is me.. the one got measured, is me.. the one got beaten, is me.."
Is he missing something here? Do you have any idea, since 1998, how many of his supporters, party members and leaders received all kind of brutality, including held in police custody during the "reformasi" movement?
And if you are not part of the movement, how could you get the "feel" of it?
That is also why I have said, I would not give PKR candidate mine & my immediate family members' vote in future elections - be it by-elections, snap-elections or the general elections - even if it means going against the Opposition Alliance Pact, the pact I have given my votes in the past three general elections.
The reason is simple. PKR must be punished. PKR party leaders must be punished for lying and misleading the people in it's "Kajang Plan".
I'm wrong? Hj Hadi is wrong? Nik Aziz also wrong? section of PKR party leaders and members wrong? segment of the public also wrong?
Only PKR, Anwar, Azmin, Saifuddin, Rafizi and several more were right?
How would you want me to believe any of them when they have blatantly lied in "Kajang Plan?".
Say what you want about Hadi, Nik Aziz, the small-fly like me, section of PKR leaders and members and segment of the public, what we saw may differ from yours.
At the end of the day, it's people like me that will make the difference, if not matter the most, come election time and certainly I don't need any permission whether to vote PKR/PR or not.
When I started blogging quite recently, I chose politics and politicians out of my passion, though I realized, that it may be bad for the health.
For those without the slightest interest on politics, they just couldn't be bothered as to why PKR is so determined to get rid of Khalid at all cost, let alone international politics such as how would Jokowi, the new president-elect of Indonesia, shape-up his very first cabinet.
At this stage for Khalid, he has a show-cause letter to reply, special prayer by PAS ulama for him to stay as MB PAS ulama to hold special prayer.. is leaving it to the courts on all allegations levelled against him by party colleagues Let court decides..
Meanwhile Anwar said PR (People's Pact) is ready to face snap polls Pakatan ready to face snap polls, Anwar
Anwar can say anything he likes. Would I be a "clown" in his circus? Definitely, NO!!
Today is 2014 and NOT 1998!
I will check my polling station transfer request tomorrow and would be more than happy if I and family could participate in the snap polls for Kuala Selangor MP and Ijuk DUN constituencies.
